OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

Parents/Guardians, please be sure to read our ‘Declaration to Participate’ detailed below at the very end of the Terms and Conditions.
Parents/Guardians must agree to it before the beginning of the first class. By submitting your application, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the declaration.

1. UNIFORM:
For all students who join our self-esteem activity program, the dress code is flexible, but it should be comfortable for stretching and physical activity. The children will be at times doing highly active movement, so we recommend non-restrictive clothing that is light and comfortable.
We recommend no dresses or skirts unless there are shorts or tights underneath it.
We may use art material that could get messy; so we encourage your child to not wear brand new clothing or to bring a smock. We will try to notify parents ahead of time.
Please ensure your child wears in-door comfortable shoes that are kept aside for our class or for indoor activities.

2. SECURITY AND CHILD PROTECTION:
No child will be allowed out of the building unsupervised under the age of 16yrs (unless parental permission is given). So please come to reception to drop off & collect your child.
All COURAGE FOR KIDS staff have had background and criminal record checks and are trained in working with children to provide the best quality care for your child.

3. ENROLMENT:
At the discretion of COURAGE FOR KIDS, we reserve the right to decide whether to allow or exclude a student into our program either before or after an application form has been completed.
If a student has not been accepted but the deposit was submitted, it will be refunded on request if we are unable to offer a spot in our program.
The times and dates of our program are subject to change. Should an adjustment be required, we will notify students via email and provide as much notice as possible.

4. ATTENDANCE:
COURAGE FOR KIDS require parents to collect students promptly at the end of a scheduled class or camp day. We are unable to offer after class care for students due to venue restrictions. We understand occasional lateness does occur but request students are collected no later than 15 minutes after class finishes. Parents who arrive late for collection agree to pay a $25 fee for every 15 minutes of time over this initial 15 minute grace period, at the discretion of COURAGE FOR KIDS.

5. MISSED CLASSES:
COURAGE FOR KIDS is unable to provide make-up classes for students who miss classes during the session, as our classes are group classes. Further, as our costs are set, we cannot offer refunds for individual missed classes.

6. DISCIPLINE:
At our classes, we reserve the right to dismiss any child who becomes disruptive or behaves inappropriately. We operate a Yellow Card system to ensure there is good discipline at all times. If a child is found to be disruptive they will be given a Yellow Card warning which will be notified to the parent and kept on record. If any student is given 3 such warnings within a year they will sadly have to leave the program and a refund will be given for the remaining sessions. This situation is very rare as our professional team of teachers is experienced & reasonable in its approach to achieving a professional, inspiring & fun-filled working environment for our students.

7. CHAPERONES:
If your child has a condition, challenge or diagnosis which requires special one on one support, we are not at this time staffed with professionals to provide exclusive special care to our students. We apologize for this as we view all children as deserving of a fun and amazing class experience. Please notify us before enrolment and we will determine if a parent or a professional hired or provided by you or a guardian could be possible for your child to enroll into our program.
